River Murray irrigators and water licence holders were invited to submit their views on how the government can improve the water allocation announcement process, including what information is required, how it is distributed and when it is provided. You can read more about the consultation process.
The Department for Environment and Water is now reviewing all comments provided in submissions and, if required, will make further changes to the proposed water allocation announcement information.
